"Confession: I haven�t used a perfumed body lotion as a layering component in at least 20 years. The reason is simple: most of them are overly fragranced as standalone products, which makes layering fragrance over them too much for most environments. Thankfully, that�s not the case here, and as a professional beauty writer, I can easily recommend this one to others. Scent: Kimono Urara has many of the same rose and floral notes as Kimono Tsuya, so if you like one, you�ll probably like the other. I find this to be even more subtle than Kimono Tsuya, and it reminds me of early spring mornings when my Meyer lemon tree is blooming. Texture: This body lotion reminds me of a Korean emulsion and feels cool and slightly watery (due to the hyaluronic acid) when applied. It dries down quickly, so it won�t slow you up on busy mornings, and it�s the perfect way to make the matching fragrance last longer.Packaging: �Like the other body lotions in the Decort� Kimono collection, the ribbed bottle with the matching bow looks feminine and elegant. Unlike emulsions from many high-end Asian beauty brands, the shaker opening dispenses product easily. You won�t be banging this against the palm of your hand, and the plastic has enough give to squeeze it gently if needed.Closing Thoughts: One noticeable difference between the body lotion and the hand cream is the less obvious sheen.
