This product is alcohol-free so it is gentle on sensitive skin and can be confidently applied as a hair essence. The scent is light and gentle and lasts about half to 3/4 of the day. "I love perfumes and Decorte, so I was excited to see that Decorte came out with a perfume! I have several of their other products and always loved the scents. It comes in a small but long frosted glass bottle with some ribbon tied around some styrofoam padding. I think it's meant to be decorative after you pull out the styrofoam but it just looks funny. The cap sits over it so it doesn't interfere with uncapping it. It's a pretty bottle! Just smelling the bottle, it smells nice and fresh. The spray is nice and even. The scent tbh smells a lot like a light floral scent - my mom wears another perfume that smells very similar. It's a light, floral scent and honesty reminds me of my mom in the best way. It says it's water-based - I'm glad it's not alcohol or oil based so it's clean to apply! It lasted throughout the day, although it was super faint by the end of the day - I could only smell it when brought all the way up to my nose. It’s a pretty faint scent. I did like what it dried down to at the end of the day - it’s a lot softer and warmer than the other perfume, which is a bit cooler and more strongly floral. So I think this is definitely better after a bit. Throughout the day though, I didn’t smell it at all - I sprayed it on the underside of my arm but didn’t smell it - so it doesn’t really project after the first hour or so and is more of a close up scent - which is nice, but not good if you want that projection. Overall, a nice cool, floral scent - just be aware it doesn’t last or project very much. I received this complimentary from decortebeauty in exchange for an honest review!"
